No Need for Scare Tactics When it Comes to Dental Implants
A dentist in Norcross, Georgia recently found himself in hot
water as a result of a billboard he placed advertising his dental
implant practice. The billboard contains two pictures: one, a shot of a
mouth that’s nearly empty of upper teeth, and a second, showing the same mouth
with a full set of glittering white dental implants.
Unfortunately, the billboard was erected across the street
from a local daycare. School administrators complained to the billboard
company, who in turn contacted a local news station for help in reaching the
dentist. The dentist apologized and had the billboard removed.
Advertising in the modern media environment is tough, but
fortunately we don’t need scary pictures to make the case for dental implants.
The fact remains that they are excellent options for treating the serious
problems that can arise from missing teeth. Those problems include:
